Maintenance Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Specialist to join our team.

• This is a unique opportunity for a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to contribute to the optimal performance of printing machinery and electrical equipment.

1. We require someone who can effectively plan, execute timely installation, repair, rebuild, and upkeep of printing machinery and electrical equipment to ensure seamless operations.
2. Responsibilities will include overseeing pre-emptive maintenance to maximize production throughput and minimize disruptions.

• Maintenance Expertise

1. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting routine inspections and preventive maintenance to avoid equipment failures.
2. Swift response to breakdowns, troubleshooting, and restoration of operations efficiently are essential skills required for this role.

• Safety & Compliance

1. Follow all safety protocols, company policies, and regulatory requirements to safeguard personnel and equipment.

• Team Collaboration

1. Strong working relationships with technicians, operators, management, workshop staff, and external vendors are crucial.
2. Liaising with Production, Prepress, Binding, Finishing, and Warehousing teams to support seamless workflows is also a key responsibility.

• Technical Skills

1. PLC & Automation Systems - Familiarity with programmable logic controllers and automated systems used in modern rotary, web-offset, and digital print machinery.
2. Hydraulic & Pneumatic Systems - Understanding pressurized systems, actuators, and relevant troubleshooting techniques.
3. Predictive Maintenance Tools - Knowledge of vibration analysis, thermography, and condition-monitoring tools to preempt equipment failure.
4. Electrical & Mechanical Foundation - Strong grounding in electrical systems, control panels, wiring, and mechanical assembly fundamentals.
5. Spare Parts Inventory Management - Proficiency in managing machine components, procurement lead times, and stock levels.
