Toy Design Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and imaginative Toy Design Specialist to develop models of figurines, props, and learning objects. Your designs will be central to creating fun, safe, and engaging toys, moving from concept through prototyping to final manufacturing.

This is an opportunity for a creative individual who can think outside the box and push boundaries in toy design.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Create unique and captivating designs: Develop models of figurines, props, and learning objects that capture children's imagination and inspire creativity.
  • Collaborate with illustrators: Work closely with illustrators to ensure visual consistency across products and bring your designs to life.
  • Prepare 3D files: Ensure all 3D files are suitable for printing and injection molding.
  • Work with vendors: Collaborate with vendors to prototype and mass-produce your designs.
  • Maintain child safety standards: Ensure all designs meet rigorous child safety guidelines, including non-sharp edges, stability, and durability.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in 3D design tools: Skilled in software such as Blender, ZBrush, Maya, or similar.
  • Experience in toy design: Proven track record in toy, figurine, or product design.
  • Understanding of 3D printing and molding: Strong knowledge of 3D printing and molding processes.
  • Professional experience: Minimum 2-4 years of relevant professional experience preferred.
  • Creativity and attention to detail: Excellent creativity, attention to detail, and understanding of child-safe design principles.
