Backend Developer - Senior Role

We are seeking an experienced Backend Developer to lead our team in developing high-performance backend services using Golang.

  • About the Role:
  • This is a senior-level position that requires at least 7+ years of experience in backend development, with a strong focus on Golang.
  • The ideal candidate will have expertise in designing and implementing scalable microservices architecture, as well as proficiency in databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB or Cassandra).
  • Additionally, the candidate should have hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure), as well as knowledge of messaging queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ, NATS).
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend services using Golang.
  • Architect scalable microservices and RESTful APIs.
  • Collaborate with DevOps teams to ensure smooth CI/CD pipelines and deployments.
  • Conduct code reviews, mentor junior developers, and enforce coding standards.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex production issues.
  • Requirements:
  • At least 7+ years of backend development experience, with at least 5+ years in Golang.
  • Strong understanding of concurrency, memory management, and performance tuning in Golang.
  • Hands-on experience with microservices architecture and API development.
  • Proficiency in databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB or Cassandra).
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure).
  • Familiarity with unit testing, integration testing, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and ability to lead technical discussions.
  • Good to Have:
  • Experience with GraphQL or gRPC.
  • Knowledge of event-driven systems.
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
  • Prior experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
