Job Title: Backend Software Development Lead

Job Description:

Our team is seeking a highly skilled Backend Software Development Lead to join our dynamic environment. As a key member of the development team, you will be responsible for leading the design and implementation of backend services using TypeScript/AWS technology stack.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent technical expertise, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. You will be responsible for overseeing the development of new features, ensuring timely delivery, and maintaining high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement backend services using TypeScript/AWS.
  • Lead a team of developers in designing, developing, and deploying scalable and efficient backend systems.
  • Collaborate with front-end developers to ensure seamless integration of backend services.
  • Develop and maintain PostgreSQL schemas, migrations, and queries.
  • Ensure secure API integrations using OAuth2 and JWT.
  • Implement continuous integration and delivery pipelines using GitHub and CI/CD workflows.
Required Skills & Qualifications:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced professional who possesses the following skills:

  • 5+ years of experience in backend software development, preferably in financial services.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent technical skills in TypeScript/AWS, Node.js, and PostgreSQL.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS Lambda and serverless patterns.
  • Solid understanding of building secure, documented REST APIs.
