Database Development Position

We are seeking a skilled database developer to contribute to the success of our technology team.


About the Role

The primary responsibility is to design, develop, and maintain high-performance databases using PostgreSQL and Oracle.


  • Design efficient database structures in collaboration with the development team.
  • Analyze and resolve database performance bottlenecks.
  • Implement and maintain database security measures to protect sensitive data.
  • Develop data integration processes, including ETL workflows.
  • Create comprehensive documentation for database environments.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:


  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in PostgreSQL and Oracle database environments.
  • Experience in database performance tuning, query optimization, and capacity planning.
  • Solid understanding of relational database concepts, data security, backup, and recovery procedures.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Desirable Skills

Prior experience in cloud-based database services, system analysis, and design would be an advantage.
