Database Development Specialist

We are seeking a skilled database development specialist to join our team. As a key member of the development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust database solutions using MySQL and Oracle.

  • Design, develop, and maintain database solutions using MySQL and Oracle.
  • Perform database administration tasks, including backup, recovery, and performance tuning.
  • Develop and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and triggers.
  • Ensure data integrity and security across all database systems.
  • Collaborate with development teams to design and implement database schemas and structures.
  • Monitor database performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
  • Conduct data modeling and database design for new projects.
  • Create and maintain documentation for database processes and procedures.
  • Mentor junior database developers and provide technical guidance.

Requirements:

  • 5-7 years of professional experience in database development.
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience with MySQL.
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience with Oracle.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and database optimization techniques.
  • Experience with database administration tasks and performance tuning.
  • Solid understanding of data modeling and database design principles.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
