Governance Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable professional to fill the role of Corporate Governance Professional.
This full-time position entails ensuring effective corporate governance, managing shareholder relations, and maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements.
The successful candidate will play a vital role in our firm's interactions with stakeholders while supporting corporate secretarial functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain company compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Implement corporate governance practices to enhance our reputation and stakeholder trust.
- Act as a key point of contact for shareholders, addressing queries and managing communications effectively.
- Draft and maintain accurate minutes of all meetings, ensuring all key decisions are documented and acknowledged.
- Coordinate and manage all logistics for board meetings, from scheduling to distribution of materials to recording decisions taken.
- Oversee the administration of employee stock ownership plans (ESOPs) to align with employee benefits and organizational objectives.
- Assist in preparation for initial public offerings, working closely with legal and financial teams to ensure compliance and readiness.
