Job Opportunity: Director of Technical Excellence Job Description:

The role of the Director of Technical Excellence is to lead a high-performing team of AI engineers, platform engineers, and product managers. This leadership position will accelerate responsible innovation through the implementation of world-class AI safety services.

  • The team's primary objective is to provide safe and rapid AI application deployment services that integrate seamlessly into customer workflows.
  • This role will establish best practices, scalable tools, and clear benchmarks for AI safety in the industry.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of technical experts to develop and implement AI safety solutions.
  • Implement agile processes that prioritize speed without compromising quality or security.
  • Collaborate with customers to understand their AI safety challenges and deliver tailored solutions.
  • Develop tools and services to ensure AI applications are aligned, robust, interpretable, and safe.
  • Champion engineering excellence in a high-stakes environment.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 12 years of experience in software engineering, with at least 5 years managing technical teams or complex projects.
  • Proven track record delivering AI, ML, or data-intensive platforms or services.
  • Demonstrated success in team leadership, coaching, and talent development.
  • Excellent cross-functional collaboration and communication skills.
