Senior Program Coordinator Job

This senior-level role involves overseeing the development and implementation of programs to achieve desired outcomes.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Program Development: Lead program development initiatives to drive quality mobilization, enrolment, training, placement, batch progression and outcome monitoring, placement support, reporting and documentation, and building a positive work culture.
  • Mobilization and Partnerships: Establish and maintain strong partnerships with institutions and governments to facilitate high-quality student intake, ensure programme compliance, and secure necessary funding for effective program execution.
  • Enrolment Management: Supervise the enrolment process to guarantee a steady stream of high-quality students and meet organisational goals.
  • Training Excellence: Ensure that all training processes adhere to best practices, are academically excellent, and result in successful placements.
  • Placement Support: Facilitate student placements in relevant industries by leveraging connections and resources.
  • Batch Progression and Outcome Monitoring: Track student progress and outcomes to inform future program improvements and optimise resource allocation.
  • Financial Management: Effectively manage financial resources to support the growth and sustainability of the program.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • A graduate or postgraduate degree in any field.
  • No less than 5 years of experience in the skill development industry, with at least 3 years in team leadership roles.
  • At least 3 years of experience in donor-funded skilling operations is highly desirable.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, patience, and perseverance are essential.
  • Candidates should have the ability to counsel students effectively.
  • A commitment to working with marginalised communities is crucial.

Bonus Experience: Prior experience as a Centre Head in skill development projects would be a significant advantage.
