Regulatory Strategy Lead

This is a critical role that requires a unique blend of creativity, analytical rigor, and strategic thinking. As the Regulatory Strategy Lead, you will play a pivotal part in shaping Airtel's external environment and driving internal alignment.

You will act as both a strategic analyst and an execution partner to the Chief Regulatory Officer, helping to develop policy positions, manage external engagement, and guide internal stakeholders on regulatory implications.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of India's telecom, digital, and data policy landscape, with experience in policy, research, or a related strategic function. They should be proficient in data analysis tools and possess excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.

  • Develop and articulate policy positions
  • Track, monitor, and analyze competition, market, and regulatory trends
  • Prepare briefing notes, presentations, regulatory submissions, and communication strategies
  • Collaborate with stakeholders within the Regulatory team and other cross-functional teams
  • Support the CRO in prioritization, resource planning, and coordination of high-impact projects

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Law, Finance, or related field (Master's preferred)
  • 2–3 years of experience in policy, research, or a related strategic function
  • Strong understanding of India's telecom, digital, and data policy landscape
  • Proficient in data analysis tools (Excel, Power BI, Tableau, SQL preferred)
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills
