Data and Business Intelligence Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Data and Business Intelligence Specialist to join our team. This hybrid role combines technical skills in SQL, Python, and data pipelines with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and maintain robust ETL pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Logic Apps, and APIs.
  • Administrate and optimize the SQL database on Microsoft Azure.
  • Ensure high-quality, clean, and well-documented data pipelines and dataflows.
  • Implement and maintain data quality controls.
Business Intelligence & Analytics
  • Develop and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and automated reporting tools.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis using SQL, Power BI, Python, and Excel to provide actionable insights to support decision-making.
  • Present findings and insights to internal teams, financial institution partners, and other stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in data science, computer engineering, statistics, or another quantitative field required.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in SQL development and database administration experience (Azure SQL preferred).
  • Minimum 3 years' experience building and maintaining ETL pipelines (Azure Data Factory, Logic Apps, or similar tools).
  • Proficiency with APIs and data integration methods.
  • Advanced Excel skills (Power Query, PivotTables, advanced formulas, macros a plus).
  • Expertise in Power BI (DAX, data modeling, dashboard/report design).
  • Proficiency in Python for data transformation, automation, and analysis.
