  • This role will be responsible for building and maintaining scalable data pipelines, developing and driving product strategies, and working closely with cross-functional teams to support commercial strategies with data solutions.
About the Role

We're looking for an experienced Data Engineer who can thrive in a fast-paced environment and has a strong background in data engineering, ETL development, and commercial impact. This person will play a critical part in enabling data-driven decisions across the business.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in data engineering, strong proficiency in Python, and advanced SQL skills. They will also have familiarity with cloud platforms and data storage solutions, as well as A/B testing methodologies.

Responsibilities

The responsibilities of this role include:

  • Designing, developing, and maintaining scalable ETL pipelines using Python to support data ingestion, transformation, and integration from multiple sources.
  • Developing and maintaining A/B testing frameworks, tracking key metrics, and analyzing experiment results to inform product strategies.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including customer success, sales, and marketing, to support commercial strategies with data solutions.
  • Analyzing customer and operational data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities that support revenue growth and improve customer engagement.
  • Developing and maintaining dashboards and reports using SQL and data visualization tools like Looker, Tableau, or Power BI to present insights to stakeholders.
  • Writing and optimizing complex SQL queries for data analysis and support decision-making processes.
  • Ensuring data integrity and quality through regular audits, validations, and monitoring.
  • Partnering with commercial teams to analyze performance data and support customer-facing initiatives.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in data engineering, ETL development, or a related role.
  • Strong proficiency in Python, with experience in building ETL workflows and data processing scripts.
  • Advanced SQL skills, including query optimization and database modeling.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, or Looker).
  • Familiarity with A/B testing methodologies and ability to analyze experiment results.
  • Solid understanding of Excel, including advanced functions and pivot tables.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms and data storage solutions (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) is a plus.
