Job Title

We are seeking a highly skilled Plant and Machinery Professional to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of the plant and machinery industry, with experience in high-rise towers. They will be responsible for overseeing specific personnel and working with multiple teams when necessary.

  • Experience in plant & machinery department, particularly high-rise towers is essential.
  • Erection, dismantling, maintenance, and operation of Luffing Jib tower cranes, passenger hoists, placer booms etc. are key responsibilities.
  • Methodology of equipment erection, operation, and preparation of checklists is crucial.
  • Controlling spare parts inventory and cost optimization, sourcing of plant & machinery operators, mechanics etc. is vital.
  • Generating local MIS to Mechanical Head at HO/Project In charge is required.
  • Maintaining site records of equipment including log books, preventive maintenance records, and upkeep of equipment at zonal sites is important.
  • Preparing monthly budget estimates for spares and running expenses for each machine and monitoring them on a monthly basis is necessary.
  • Training concerned personnel, workers, and operators on using equipment safely to avoid accidents and ensure optimal performance is critical.
  • Ensuring optimum use of P&M corresponding to their rated productivity output is essential.
  • Minimizing breakdowns of equipment and maximizing availability at site is required.
  • Creating service schedules for each month based on hours/Kms running, implementing those strictly to achieve minimum break-downs of equipment's, machinery, and vehicles is necessary.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree/Dip.- Mech. or equivalent experience.
  • Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc.) Organized.
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience.
