Optical Engineering Expert Wanted

Our company is pioneering a groundbreaking Scanning Electron Microscope, pushing the boundaries of nanoscale visualization and measurement. We seek an experienced Senior Optics Engineer to spearhead the development of our electron-optical column.

This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the architecture and culture of our team, working hands-on to deliver a cutting-edge tool that drives research and industry forward.

  • Design Requirements: Develop high-resolution, low-drift performance for the electron-optical column, creating practical tuning workflows for production and service.
  • Theoretical Translation: Translate optics theory into actionable tolerances, calibration routines, and alignment jigs replicable outside the lab.
  • Collaboration: Work with Electronics and Software teams to co-design deterministic beam control and intuitive imaging controls.
  • Calibration Playbook: Develop and maintain a comprehensive playbook covering resolution, magnification, and distortion, while training others to execute it.
