Job Overview

Maintenance technicians are responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of equipment and facilities.

The key role of maintenance professionals is to maintain safety standards and ensure that all systems are functioning properly.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform regular maintenance on process equipment, including dust collectors, earthing, pressure vessels, and hazardous area pumps.
  • Carry out breakdown, preventive, and predictive maintenance of all process, lab, and utilities equipment.
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance checklists for each piece of equipment, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
  • Issue job cards to technicians for tasks such as equipment repair and replacement.
  • Conduct daily meetings with technicians to discuss progress and address any issues.
  • Perform root cause analysis (fishbone and 5Why) to identify and resolve major problems.
  • Monitor and maintain critical spares inventory, ensuring availability and communication with vendors.
  • Record breakdown history, planned and unplanned data entry into SAP PM system.
  • Operate and maintain utilities such as generators, chillers, air compressors, and transformers.
  • Ensure adherence to safety standards and participate in process safety improvement teams.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Strong understanding of maintenance procedures and safety protocols.
  • Ability to analyze and troubleshoot complex problems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Organizational and time management skills.
  • Knowledge of SAP PM system and ability to utilize it effectively.
Benefits
