About This Role

This position involves managing and delivering the UPI payments platform for merchant acquiring solutions. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of the UPI product, its features, and system limitations.

The key responsibilities include:

  • Managing and delivering the UPI payments platform for merchant acquiring solutions
  • Developing solutions that cater to business use cases, requiring a good understanding of the UPI product, features, and system limitations
  • Facilitating pre-sale support, preparing functional scope documents, and participating in UAT and certification testing
  • Knowledge of UPI product/program delivery channels, such as payment gateways, transaction processing, settlements, and dispute aspects
  • Providing solutions to individual customers, including merchants and business entities
  • Having both UPI issuing and acquiring knowledge, offered to our business partners
  • Tracking the UPI product platform for issues and engaging with relevant internal and external stakeholders
  • Managing a merchant product of UPI while working closely with multiple bank gateways

Requirements

  • 3 to 7 years of experience in a professionally managed organization or a leading bank with expertise in payments and merchant acquiring domain
  • Able to understand business requirements, create requirement documents, and define scope of work
  • Possess knowledge of IT delivery channels, such as payment gateway, merchant onboard, transaction processing, settlement, and disputes aspects
  • ETED transaction processing experience in payments and settlement aspect
  • Experience with SDLC process and application trouble shooting
  • Ability to manage external and internal stakeholders
  • Adaptability and ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders to achieve common goals
  • Added advantage - experience with networks and certifications
  • Documentation skills and presentation skills are valuable assets
