Backend Developer Role

We are seeking a skilled professional to take full ownership of designing and managing scalable user-centric product backend architecture.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Owning the entire backend infrastructure planning, development, and deployment process
  • Developing user authentication and authorization using industry best practices and security protocols
  • Implementing logic, user discovery algorithms, and preference-based filters for seamless user experiences
  • Building real-time chat and messaging systems with robust messaging capabilities
  • Integrating Firebase Cloud Messaging for push notifications on iOS and Android devices
  • Designing and managing MongoDB schema optimized for high-performance use cases and efficient data management
  • Ensuring secure API access using HTTPS and role-based access control measures
  • Handling media uploads securely via cloud storage services and ensuring data integrity
  • Implementing analytics hooks for key user actions and behavior tracking
  • Building admin APIs for user moderation, reporting, and flagging systems
  • Monitoring and maintaining API performance, database health, error logs, and uptime metrics
  • Collaborating with DevOps teams to set up CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and auto-scaling backend infrastructure
  • Managing environment configurations securely with secrets handling and encryption methods

Key Requirements:

  • 3+ years' experience in backend development with Node.js, Firebase, and MongoDB technologies
  • Strong understanding of token-based authentication and security best practices
  • Experience building scalable, real-time chat or messaging systems and integrating them into existing applications
  • Familiarity with cloud storage services such as Firebase and AWS S3, and ability to integrate them securely
  • Solid knowledge of CI/CD, monitoring, and application scaling principles
  • Clear communication skills for technical documentation and cross-functional collaboration
