Data Engineer Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join our team, who will be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining ETL/ELT workflows using Informatica IICS.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ETL development, with experience working with cloud-based data platforms such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Google BigQuery (GBQ). They will also possess strong problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain ETL/ELT workflows using Informatica IICS.
  • Integrate IICS solutions with cloud-based data platforms such as GCP and GBQ.
  • Optimize pipelines for scalability and performance.
  • Develop reusable data mappings, task flows, and parameterized solutions.
  • Manage deployments, migrations, and version control of IICS assets.
  • Collaborate with business and technical teams to translate requirements into data solutions.
  • Perform unit testing, debugging, and troubleshooting of ETL jobs.

Required Skills & Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 7+ years of ETL development experience, with 2–3 years in Informatica IICS.
  • Strong SQL skills and experience with RDBMS (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL).
  • Hands-on experience with GCP and Google BigQuery.
  • Familiarity with data governance, data quality, and data cataloging tools.
  • Experience integrating data from on-prem, SaaS applications, and cloud data lakes.
  • Strong problem-solving, debugging, and collaboration skills.
