Job Title: Manufacturing Process Specialist

The Jhagadia Float Glass manufacturing unit is one of the strategic investments of Saint-Gobain in western India. In 2011, Saint-Gobain acquired Ms. Sejal Architectural Glass.

This state-of-the-art float glass plant is located at Central Gujarat in Jhagadia of Bharuch District. It spans over an area of 150 acres with a capacity to produce 550 MT of clear glass per day. This plant sets a high-quality benchmark standard within India and globally by producing clear glass with less than 650 ppm of Iron.

Saint-Gobain also takes pride in setting this benchmark for its TVC campaign of Clear Glass of 654 PPM. The campus has a uniquely positioned in-house Sand Beneficiation plant with a capacity to produce 600 tons of treated sand per day.

Saint-Gobain further invested strategically in value-added products such as Shower Cubicles business in Jhagadia to cater to Home and Hospitality business segments of Saint-Gobain.

The Jhagadia glass site has uniquely positioned itself over a decade to attract many future investments of Saint-Gobain in India.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Experience in Finished Goods- Particularly Warehouse and Dispatch which comes at the end of the Manufacturing Process
  • Responsible for Safety & 5S in warehouse Bays
  • Manage storage & Serviceability in the warehouse bays
  • Responsible for traceability and retrievability of material
  • Responsible for bay audits and reporting
  • Responsible for Inventory Management
  • Knowledge of Forklift operations and EOT
  • Knowledge on optimization of space, consumables
  • Knowledge on inventory management
  • Knowledge about warehouse activity
  • Knowledge about Cycle Audit
  • Knowledge about Material Storing
  • Knowledge about making inward and invoice
  • Knowledge in Location accuracies

Required Qualifications:
  • Diploma - Engineering (Any stream) with Good Academic record
  • 2-4 years
