**Job Title:** Desktop Support Specialist

 

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operating System Installation and Configuration: Ensure seamless operating system installation and configuration across desktops, laptops, and mobile devices.
  • Hardware Maintenance and Repair: Perform hardware maintenance and repair tasks, including CPU upgrades, motherboard replacements, and peripheral troubleshooting.
  • Software Deployment and Troubleshooting: Deploy and troubleshoot software applications, including Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and other standard business tools.
  • Network Infrastructure Management: Install, configure, and troubleshoot network printers, VPNs, and firewalls to ensure secure and efficient connectivity.
  • Security Measures: Implement BitLocker encryption, manage antivirus updates, and maintain virus protection across the organization to safeguard sensitive data.
  • Active Directory Administration: Manage user accounts, reset passwords, update group policies, and control access to ensure a seamless user experience.
  • Remote Technical Support: Provide remote technical assistance for software and system-related issues using tools like TeamViewer or LogMeIn.
  • Asset Tracking and Inventory Management: Coordinate with vendors for hardware issues, maintain inventory records for hardware and software assets, and track company resources accurately.
