Job Title: Platform Infrastructure Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Platform Infrastructure Specialist to lead and manage mission-critical IT infrastructure for large-scale projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable and secure platforms that meet the evolving needs of our business.

About the Role:
  • Kafka Administration: You will manage on-premises Kafka clusters, deploy, configure, secure, and maintain Kafka environments. Monitor using Prometheus/Grafana; set up alerts and automate responses.
  • Automation & Scripting: Develop and maintain automation scripts in Shell, Python, Ansible, etc. Use Docker, Jenkins, Git Lab for CI/CD and operational efficiency.
  • Caching & Supporting Infrastructure: Install, configure, and manage caching servers (Redis, Memcached). Maintain supporting web servers (Apache, Nginx) with caching enabled. Apply patches, upgrades, and maintain performance of caching infrastructure.
  • Cross-Functional Support: Maintain thorough documentation of processes and environments. Collaborate with development, Dev Ops, and security teams. Ensure compliance with industry standards and internal policies.
Required Skills & Competencies:
  • Deep expertise in Apache Kafka administration and operations.
  • Strong command of Linux environments and CLI tools.
  • Proficiency in automation/scripting (Shell, Python, Ansible).
  • Familiarity with container orchestration and Kubernetes CLI.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills in distributed environments.
  • Security-first mindset with knowledge of encryption/authentication.
  • Critical thinking, independence, adaptability, and clear communication.
