Digital Learning Platform Specialist

The Digital Learning Platform Specialist plays a pivotal role in delivering seamless learning experiences across our organization. This expert combines technical prowess with strategic thinking to ensure the effective management of digital content, user engagement, and data-driven insights.

This position requires a unique blend of technical skills, project management expertise, and business acumen. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of digital learning platforms, e-learning content development, and analytics reporting.

Key responsibilities include:

• Digital Content Management:
• Configure and publish digital courses, curricula, and learning paths within our platform.
• Ensure accurate metadata and categorization for optimal searchability and reporting.
• Manage course enrollment processes, prerequisites, and completion requirements.
• Troubleshoot technical issues related to course functionality and user access.

• Quality Assurance:
• Conduct thorough quality assurance of digital content assets to ensure accuracy and consistency.

• Digital Learning Administration:
• Administer user accounts, roles, and permissions within our platform.
• Monitor learner progress and completion rates across all courses and programs.
• Generate and analyze learning analytics reports to track engagement and effectiveness.
• Manage compliance training requirements and automated notifications.
• Support learners with technical issues and platform navigation.
• Maintain learning records and ensure data integrity within the system.

• Strategic Learning Support:
• Collaborate with learning and development teams to align platform capabilities with organizational learning objectives.
• Provide recommendations for platform optimization and feature utilization.
• Support the evaluation and implementation of new learning technologies and integrations.
• Assist in developing learning governance policies and standard operating procedures.
• Participate in vendor meetings and platform upgrade planning.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., education, instructional design, or computer science).
• 2+ years of experience with digital learning platforms, preferably with a focus on content development and delivery.
• 2+ years of project management experience, preferably in learning and development contexts.
• Experience with e-learning content development methodologies (ADDIE, SAM, etc.).

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in digital learning platform administration and configuration.
• Understanding of learning standards (SCORM, xAPI/Tin Can, AICC).
• Experience with content authoring tools (Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, or similar).
• Strong analytical skills with experience in learning analytics and reporting.
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and basic web technologies.
• Project management software proficiency (Smartsheets, MS Project, Asana, Trello, or similar).
