Qualification Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Qualification Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting final acceptance tests for semiconductor equipment and ensuring qualification.

The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collect, process, and analyze data using statistical methods.

Additionally, you will troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, isolate problems, and determine corrective actions. You will also refine process recipes based on test and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Final Acceptance Tests for Semiconductor equipment and ensure qualification.
  • Execute checklists and procedures, updating tasks as needed.
  • Finalize test checklists, sign off each task, and ensure delivery as promised to customers.
  • Collect, process, and analyze data, applying statistical methods.
  • Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, isolate problems, and determine corrective actions.
  • Record process documentation and production data meticulously, adhering to compliance and traceability guidelines.
  • Refine process recipes based on test and customer requirements.
  • Operate vacuum chambers and load-locks safely.
  • Understand air- or liquid-based instruments, interpret PNID diagrams, and make adjustments.
  • Handle gases like CDA, N2, and helium, and have an advantage if handling process chemistry.
  • Work with Kawasaki robots, load ports, aligners, and ionizer bars.
  • Evaluate ESD requirements for platforms.
  • Handle delicate semiconductor wafers/panels with precision and care.
  • Experience tool leveling and verify Lock-out / Tag-out procedures.
  • Proficiency in electrical and mechanical schematics, diagrams, and operation manuals.
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft suites.
  • Installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of semiconductor capital equipment.
  • Work in cleanroom environments and ensure health and safety regulations.
