Condition Monitoring Specialist

Provide advanced support for condition monitoring of rotating equipment. Utilise various techniques to monitor and analyse the condition of rotating machinery, including vibration oil analysis thermography videoscopy etc.

Analyse data from online and offline sources, and provide recommendations for maintenance needs to avoid major breakdowns.

Collaborate with teams to improve reliability through condition monitoring parameters.

Stay updated on the condition of rotating equipment by tracking and analysing data to identify potential faults or defects.

Keep rotating equipment in good health by following established standards and procedures.

  • Carry out detailed analyses of condition-based data
  • Monitor and analyse condition monitoring vibration oil analysis wear particle thermography etc.
  • Identify inherent conditions leading to rotating equipment failure through operational machine condition monitoring parameters.
  • Prepare corrective actions and recommend observed fault defect initial damage reports to maintenance follow-up and closing.
  • Work to prevent equipment failures using all possible condition monitoring data information analytical tools.
  • Track rotating equipment condition in terms of failures bad actors on cost and count, and identify corrective preventive actions.
  • Comply with best maintenance practices of PdM PM LLF Lubrication Equipment change over and corrective maintenance.
  • Provide update review support for best condition monitoring practice documents.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Application of condition-based maintenance techniques with ability to independently troubleshoot analyse resolve equipment problems.
  • Basic knowledge of machine condition monitoring balancing alignment and troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of rotating equipment maintenance techniques and types.
  • Familiarisation with various vibration standards.
  • Basic understanding of rotor dynamics mechanical design equipment function and construction.
Necessary Experience and Certifications:

A minimum of 4-6 years overall experience along with at least 2-3 years of condition monitoring in a power refinery petrochemical industry is required. Relevant certifications in condition monitoring techniques are desirable but not mandatory.
