Payroll Associate Job Opportunity

As a Payroll Associate, you will play a pivotal role in guaranteeing seamless and efficient payroll operations. Your primary responsibility will be to review timesheets thoroughly, verify hours worked, leave taken, and overtime, ensuring all entries are precise and compliant with internal policies and client-specific requirements.

In this role, you will also be responsible for managing the payroll department's mailbox, responding to queries in a timely manner, organizing incoming timesheets and documents, and maintaining a clean and efficient communication flow. Additionally, you will double-check all data entries for inconsistencies or errors, cross-verifying data and ensuring that all files are organized and up-to-date.

You will work closely with other team members to meet deadlines and support shared goals. Collaboration is key in this role as it contributes to smooth payroll operations and a positive team environment. You will follow all internal policies and procedures related to payroll processing and be encouraged to suggest improvements that enhance efficiency and accuracy.

  • Responsibilities:
    • Timesheet Checking: Review timesheets submitted on a weekly, fortnightly, or monthly basis, verifying hours worked, leave taken, and overtime to ensure accuracy and compliance.
    • Mailbox Management: Manage the payroll department's mailbox, responding to queries in a timely manner, organizing incoming timesheets and documents, and maintaining a clean communication flow.
    • Data Accuracy: Double-check all data entries for inconsistencies or errors, cross-verifying data and ensuring all files are organized and up-to-date.
    • Error-Free Processing: Maintain flawless records by accurately saving timesheets and updating Excel trackers, ensuring all necessary data is available and correctly formatted.
    • Confidentiality: Handle sensitive employee information with integrity, following data protection protocols to safeguard payroll data.
