Job Overview:

Staff Software Development Engineer

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Staff Software Development Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing software solutions that meet the needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement software solutions that meet client requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Contribute to the development of technical standards and best practices.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior engineers.
Requirements:
  • 7+ years of experience in software development.
  • Extensive experience in Java 8, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Hibernate/JPA, and Microservices Architecture.
  • Strong hands-on coding experience in Collections, Exceptions, Streams, and Lambdas.
  • Proficiency in unit testing frameworks for Java, such as JUnit, TestNG, or Spock.
  • Experience with RESTful APIs, unit testing frameworks (e.g., JUnit), and test automation tools (e.g., Selenium)
  • Exposure to Asynchronous programming using tools like Kafka, RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ, AWS SQS, or similar
  • Experience in SOA based architecture, Web Services (Apache / CXF / JAXWS / JAXRS / SOAP / REST)
  • Experience working with Relational Databases such as Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server.
  • Proficiency in front-end development using technologies such as TypeScript, JavaScript.
  • Hands-on experience deploying applications to hosted data centers or cloud environments using technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Azure DevOps and Google Cloud Platform.
  • Sound understanding of design patterns, CI/CD, and DevOps practices
  • A good understanding of UML and design patterns
  • Ability to simplify solutions, optimize processes, and resolve escalated issues efficiently.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for continuous improvement.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
