Manufacturing Team Member Job Description

The Saint-Gobain Jhagadia Float Glass manufacturing unit is a strategic investment in western India, acquired in 2011. Located in Central Gujarat, the state-of-the-art float glass plant covers 150 acres, producing 550 MT of clear glass per day with less than 650 ppm of Iron.

A significant investment has been made in a uniquely positioned sand beneficiation plant and value-added products like Shower Cubicles. This has set a high quality benchmark standard within India and globally.

The campus boasts several accolades, including HR Excellence awards from CII in and 2020, WCM Silver Award, Emerald Award for CO2 reduction, and HPR certification.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Troubleshooting technical breakdowns.
  • Maintaining plant instrumentation spares.
  • Monitoring and rectifying unsafe conditions.
  • Commissioning instrumentation projects.
  • Plan actualisation of preventive maintenance.
  • Following up with suppliers.
  • Predictive maintenance.

To be eligible, you must have a Diploma in Instrumentation & Control Engineering with good academic records and be willing to relocate to Bharuch/Ankleshwar.
