The Jhagadia Float Glass manufacturing unit of Saint-Gobain India Pvt Ltd has made a significant strategic investment in western India through the acquisition of Ms Sejal Architectural Glass in 2011. Located at Central Gujarat in Jhagadia, Bharuch District, this state-of-the-art float glass plant covers an area of 150 acres and boasts a capacity to produce 550 MT of clear glass per day. The plant's exceptional quality is reflected in its ability to produce clear glass with less than 650 ppm of Iron, setting a high benchmark standard within India and globally. This facility also features a uniquely positioned in-house Sand Beneficiation plant with a capacity to produce 600 tons of treated sand per day. Furthermore, Saint-Gobain has invested in value-added products such as Shower Cubicles business in Jhagadia to cater to Home and Hospitality business segments.
