Cloud Operations Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Operations Engineer to work with leading financial services organizations, managing end-to-end application and system stacks for high reliability, scalability, and performance of distributed systems.

Combining software engineering and systems engineering, you will build and operate large-scale, fault-tolerant production environments. Key responsibilities include engaging in and improving the software development lifecycle, designing, developing, and maintaining infrastructure, CI/CD automation pipelines, and build tools.

  • Influence cloud architecture, standards, and methods for highly scalable systems.
  • Support services prior to production through cloud design, platform development, load testing, capacity planning, and launch reviews.
  • Maintain and monitor services in production by tracking key performance indicators (availability, latency, system health).
  • Automate scalability, resiliency, and system performance improvements.

To be successful in this role, you will require a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, 8+ years of experience as a Cloud Operations Engineer or similar role, strong hands-on expertise in cloud platforms, proficiency in DevOps practices, and solid understanding of container orchestration.

  • Implement CI/CD automation pipelines and build tools.
  • Monitor and analyze system performance, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive cloud strategy and adoption.

Requirements:
