We are seeking a skilled professional to join our market risk data analysis team. Our mission is to ensure that accurate Average Daily Traded Volume (ADTV) data is used in our Gross Market Concentration (GMC) risk and Strategic Stress liquidity calculations.

Our team works closely with internal stakeholders to identify and resolve any data quality issues that may impact risk computation. We also oversee the onboarding of new ADTV sources to enhance the accuracy of concentration risk calculations and reporting.

  • Analyze and verify ADTV time series data for concentration risk and liquidity add-on calculations;
  • Identify spurious data, such as spikes and gaps, and collaborate with stakeholders for remedial action;
  • Interpret data, analyze results, and summarize complex information into actionable insights for decision-makers;
  • Define data quality metrics and produce periodic reports on key performance indicators (KPIs);
  • Onboard new ADTV sources to ensure accurate risk measurement;
  • Participate in projects related to control issues/enhancements for ADTV data quality, accuracy, and completeness;
  • Collaborate with Technology teams to provide requirements for data sourcing and remediation projects;

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of market risk concepts and financial products across asset classes. They will also possess expertise in statistical analysis, proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and excellent communication skills.

Bachelor's or master's degree in STEM, Finance, or relevant fields; knowledge of market risk concepts and various financial products across asset classes; experience with performing statistical analysis on large and unstructured datasets; proficiency in Microsoft Excel; ability to think critically and solve problems independently; excellent verbal/written communication and presentation skills; enthusiasm for knowledge sharing and collaboration.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to develop effective relationships;
  • Ability to understand business processes and their risk implications, analyze complex situations, and make recommendations;
  • Experience with Python, particularly Pandas and Numpy, for data analysis;
