We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Technology Consultant to join our team and play a key role in delivering cutting-edge solutions to our customers.
As a Senior Technology Consultant, you will be responsible for leading improvement projects and initiatives in the Event Management area, which includes proactive monitoring topics, alert processing enhancement initiatives, validation, and adaptation of new technical solutions. You will also be responsible for maintaining and managing the monitoring environment, providing technical expertise and support, and presenting to senior management on service delivery improvement initiatives and projects.
Key Responsibilities:
• Drive improvement projects and initiatives in the Event Management area
• Maintain and manage the monitoring environment
• Provide technical expertise and support
• Present to senior management on service delivery improvement initiatives and projects
• Plan, set up, implement, and operate SAP technologies achieving ambitious SLAs
• Proper documentation, definition of technical operational concepts, and guidelines for the implemented SAP landscapes and rollout of this information knowledge to the team
• Coordination with global delivery team, crisis handling, and de-escalation initiatives
• Driving war rooms for critical escalations
• Excellent SAP technical skills for identifying and updating complicated situations not covered in documentation
• Willing to learn new technology based on business need
• Managing partner weekly/monthly performance calibration
• Identifying and implementing improvements to increase partner performance
Required Skills and Qualifications:
• BE/B Tech/MCA from a well-reputed institute
• SAP NetWeaver Certified Technology Consultant
• SAP HANA Certified
• ITIL Foundation certified
• Project member in a large environment and able to work effectively in big and virtual teams
• Capable in technical documentation and creation of knowledge-based assets (KBAs)
• Customer-centric
• Continuous learner and faster adopter of new technology and process
• Analytical and solution-oriented thinker
• Expert-grade communicator with good networking skills
• Willing to work during APJ/EMEA working hours
• 8 years of work experience with working knowledge in Basis, NetWeaver, Business Objects, Business Objects Data Services, Databases, SAP HANA, SAP ASE, etc.
• Cloud monitoring knowledge will be an added advantage
• Working knowledge in UNIX/Linux environment, HANA DB, and Sybase ASE databases or one or more of the following products: Content Server, Convergent Charging, MDM, GK Software, OpenText, SAP Cloud Connector, TOMCAT, IIS, IDM, SCM Optimizer, SAP Mobile Platform, TREX, Business Connector
• Basic Knowledge in Network and Storage
