Sr. IT Disaster Recovery Expert

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Sr. IT Disaster Recovery (DR) expert to join our team in designing and implementing end-to-end DR solutions across infrastructure, applications, and data platforms.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in disaster recovery and resiliency solutions, strong skills in backup, replication, and networking, and excellent communication skills to translate business continuity requirements into scalable, validated architectures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Architect and implement robust DR solutions aligned with RTO/RPO targets.
  • Evaluate and select DR technologies and platforms based on performance, scalability, and integration capabilities.
  • Conduct risk assessments and business impact analyses to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Design reference architecture and technical workflows for backup, replication, and recovery.

Requirements:

  • 10 to 15 years of experience in disaster recovery and backup technologies.
  • Strong knowledge of backup platforms, replication technologies, and networking fundamentals.
  • Ability to lead teams in implementing DR plans and ensuring alignment with infrastructure and network configurations.

Preferred Skills:

  • Backup Platforms: Veeam, Commvault, Veritas NetBackup.
  • Replication Technologies: Zerto, VMware SRM, Double Take.
  • Networking: TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, routing for DR setup.
  • Cloud: Azure, AWS DRaaS experience.
