Disaster Recovery Specialist

- Develop and maintain comprehensive disaster recovery plans for IT infrastructure to ensure business continuity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement effective recovery solutions that align with organizational goals.
- Conduct regular assessments and updates to guarantee the preparedness of our IT systems for potential disaster scenarios.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards by implementing best practices in disaster recovery management.
- Evaluate vendor capabilities and performance to ensure adherence to service level agreements (SLAs) and contract terms.
- Foster productive relationships with vendors to facilitate efficient and effective disaster recovery operations.
- Facilitate regular meetings and updates to ensure alignment and progress of disaster recovery projects.
- Serve as a key point of contact for any IT disaster recovery-related queries or concerns within the organization.

Key Requirements:

- 3-5 years of relevant experience in IT disaster recovery, project management, and team leadership.
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, applications, and related disaster recovery principles and best practices.
- Proven experience in conducting DR planning & testing, with a focus on quality assurance and risk management.
- Project management experience is highly desirable, including expertise in Agile methodologies and scrum framework.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively work with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.

- Ensures timely resolution of platform or system issues, minimizing downtime and maximizing business uptime.
- Utilizes best practices for coding and automation to optimize IT infrastructure and reduce operational costs.
