We are seeking a senior professional to spearhead the Direct Tax division of our organization. This is an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned leader to build, grow and manage a thriving business unit.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Establishing and executing strategies to drive growth and profitability in the Direct Tax segment.
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients to ensure seamless execution and successful completion of advisory assignments.
  • Overseeing the quality of client deliverables on matters related to Mergers and Acquisitions Tax, Transaction Tax Advisory, Direct Taxation (Domestic & International), Corporate Tax Planning, and Complex Tax Matters.
  • Mentoring and managing a team of professionals to achieve allocated deliverables and foster a culture of excellence.
  • Pursuing business development opportunities to onboard new clients from existing networks and past connections.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Qualified Lawyer or CA with extensive experience in rendering M&A Tax, Direct Tax, and Corporate Tax Advisory Services at reputable firms.
  • Kolkata location preferred, but outstation candidates who can frequently travel to Kolkata are also eligible.
