Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled data engineering professional to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing large-scale data pipelines using Google Cloud technologies.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop data acquisition pipelines for structured and unstructured data
  • Create complex datasets based on business requirements
  • Develop 'big data' pipeline architecture
  • Identify opportunities for data acquisition through collaboration with stakeholders and business clients
  • Leverage tools in the Google Cloud Ecosystem such as Python, Data Flow, DataStream, CDC, Cloud Functions, Cloud Run, Pub Sub, BigQuery, Cloud Storage
  • Use logs and alerts to effectively monitor pipelines
  • Develop JSON messaging structure for integrating with various applications
  • Implement DevOps and CI/CD practices to ensure reliability and scalability of data pipelines
  • Partition and retrieve content in Big Query while securing data with IAM roles and Policy Tags

Requirements:

  • Junior DE: 2-3 years of experience in GCP data engineering role (offshore)
  • Senior DE: 4+ years of experience in GCP data engineering role (offshore)
  • At least 1 year of hands-on experience in GCP tools highlighted (Python, SQL, Data Flow, DataStream, CDC, Cloud Functions, Cloud Run, Pub Sub, BigQuery, Cloud Storage)
