Quality Management Specialist

The role of the Quality Management Specialist is to ensure that quality objectives are accomplished in assigned projects. This involves planning, executing, and evaluating quality activities as per service description.

  • This position requires effective communication with all levels of management and customers or suppliers to assure a consistent supply of quality products and services.
  • Partnership with Project Managers is necessary to lead project teams from a quality perspective, defend quality approaches towards challengers, and mediate quality-related conflicts.
  • Demonstrate value-added quality products and services to project teams for increased adoption and adherence.
  • Coach teams on quality aspects of system life-cycle processes and quality standards.
  • Be process-driven and continuously strive for process improvement in the quality area.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, Mathematics, Informatics, or related fields.
  • Certification or accreditation in Information Security (CISM, CISA, CISSP etc.) is beneficial.
  • Fluent written and spoken English skills.
  • 6-10 years of relevant experience in BioPharma IT Quality & Compliance departments.

Key Competencies

  • Effective management of quality during multiple international and/or cross-functional IT projects.
  • Expert knowledge of Quality and Security Management in GxP, CSV, GAMP areas.
  • Good understanding of pharmaceutical validation requirements driven by health authorities.
  • IT System Lifecycle expertise.
  • Adequate project management skills.
  • Software Development Methodologies: Agile, Dev/SecOPs.
  • Quality and Process Management (CMMI, Six Sigma).
