Financial Surveillance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled individual to join our team as a Financial Surveillance Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all of the firm's activities comply with regulatory requirements and policies.
The ideal candidate will have 5-8 years of banking experience, with relevant experience in financial services. They will possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as strong communication and interpersonal skills.
This is a challenging role that requires attention to detail, a high level of accuracy, and the ability to work under pressure. The successful candidate will be able to interpret policies, guidelines, and procedures, and provide support in administrative tasks.
Main Responsibilities:
- Perform trade and communications surveillance across multiple platforms to ensure compliance.
- Ensure proper documentation of surveillance work performed and provide support in other administrative tasks.
- Track escalated alerts for further investigation and follow-up.
- Support compliance fact-finding by gathering and analyzing data.
- Assist in preparing management information for periodic reports to management.
- Support general compliance activities and other duties as assigned.
