Financial Planning Analyst

About this role:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled financial planning analyst to drive our financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and analysis initiatives. This is a key leadership role that will partner with business leaders to drive data-driven decision-making and optimize financial performance.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of annual budgets, monthly forecasts, and long-range plans across the organization.
  • Collaborate with business units to understand financial drivers and align financial plans with business strategies.
  • Analyze financial and operational performance, identify trends, and deliver actionable insights.
  • Build and maintain financial models to support strategic initiatives and investment decisions.
  • Partner with accounting and finance teams to ensure accuracy in reporting and compliance with internal controls.
  • Develop and present monthly/quarterly financial dashboards, variance analysis, and management reports to leadership.
  • Drive automation and efficiency in FP&A processes using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Anaplan.

Requirements:

  • Must be a certified accountant (CA).
  • Post-qualification 6-8 years of relevant experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or business finance.
  • Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and variance analysis.
  • Strong Excel and financial modeling skills; proficiency in ERP systems and BI tools.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to interact with senior stakeholders.
  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking.
