Production Manager Job Summary\

The purpose of this role is to manage production operations to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of high-quality products.

This position is responsible for planning, coordinating and controlling the production process from start to finish. This includes managing inventory levels, implementing efficient workflows, monitoring quality control and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:\

  • Develop and implement production plans to meet business objectives.\
  • Manage and optimize production schedules to minimize lead times and maximize productivity.\
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to design and develop new products and improve existing ones.\
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.\
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching and development opportunities to employees.\
  • Maintain accurate records and reports to track production performance.\
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.\
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to ensure the organization remains competitive.\

Required Skills and Qualifications:\

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management or related field.\
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in a production management role.\
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.\
  • Technical knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials.\
  • Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.\
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and tools.\
  • Experience with SAP or other ERP systems.\
