Medical Coding Specialist Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Coding Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of medical coding principles and the ability to accurately assign codes for medical diagnoses and procedures.

  • Coding expertise in ICD-10 and PCS is essential, with a strong focus on quality and productivity.
  • The ideal candidate will be able to recognize, interpret, and evaluate inconsistencies and inaccuracies in medical data received.
  • Ambitious targets for accuracy and productivity must be met, while also meeting strict turnaround times.
Required Qualifications
  • Graduate or postgraduate degree in life sciences, allied medicine, BHMS, BAMS, BPT, dental, or pharmacy.
  • Certified coder - AAPC or AHIMA - CCS, CPC, or CCS-P.
  • Minimum 1 year experience in acute surgery or ED coding.
