Job Description:

The Laundry Service Professional is responsible for ensuring the hotel's laundry and guest items are handled with utmost care, efficiency, and quality.

Key Responsibilities include handling linen properly, using equipment and chemicals effectively, reporting faulty equipment to the team, and answering guests' calls in a friendly manner.

  • Collecting guests' laundry when requested and tagging it with correct room numbers.
  • Inspecting all laundry items before and after cleaning, noting any damages or discoloration.
  • Preparing costings for guests' laundry, ensuring correct and prompt billing.
  • Packing and delivering guests' laundry to their rooms efficiently.

Maintaining a clean work area and performing other reasonable duties assigned by management. Adhering to hotel policies, security procedures, and emergency protocols.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask efficiently. You must be able to handle sensitive guest information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.

Familiarity with laundry equipment and processes is essential, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
