Job Description:

We are seeking a seasoned Data Architecture Expert to join our team. As a key member, you will play a pivotal role in helping clients transform their corporate finance functions by leveraging advanced analytics.

Working closely with senior stakeholders, you will design and implement data strategies in the finance space, covering various use cases such as controllership, FP&A, and GPO. Your technical expertise will enable you to develop scalable analytical solutions using cloud and big data technologies.

You will collaborate with Business Consultants and Product Owners to design and implement technical solutions. Effective communication and organizational skills are essential for this position.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and drive end-to-end data and analytics solution architecture from concept to delivery.
  • Develop and support conceptual/logical/physical data models for analytics solutions.
  • Evaluate industry-accepted data architecture principles, standards, guidelines, and concepts, ensuring integration with allied disciplines and coordinated roll-out and adoption strategies.
  • Drive the design, sizing, setup, etc., of Azure environments and related services.
  • Mentor development and business teams on data architecture design and requirements.
  • Review solution requirements and architecture to ensure selection of appropriate technology, efficient use of resources, and integration of multiple systems and technology.
  • Adopt new technology trends and possible adoption to maintain competitive advantage.
  • Participate in pre-sales activities and publish thought leaderships.
  • Contribute to the technology strategy for the organization and assist in recruiting talent in various areas of data analytics.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience delivering multiple data solutions.
  • Experience with ETL development both on-premises and in the cloud using SSIS, Data Factory, and related Microsoft and other ETL technologies.
  • In-depth skills with SQL Server, Azure Synapse, Azure Databricks, HDInsights, Azure Data Lake, including configuration and administration of all aspects of SQL Server.
  • Experience with different data models like normalized, de-normalized, stars, and snowflake models, working with transactional, temporal, time series, and structured and unstructured data.
  • Data Quality Management (Microsoft DQS and other data quality and governance tools) and Data Architecture standardization experience.
  • Deep understanding of operational dependencies of applications, networks, systems, security, and policy (both on-premise and in the cloud).
  • Advanced study/knowledge in the field of computer science or software engineering, along with knowledge of software development methodologies (Microsoft development lifecycle, OOP principles, Visual Studio, SDKs, PowerShell, CLI).
  • Familiarity with principles and practices involved in development and maintenance of software solutions and architectures, and in-service delivery (Microsoft and Azure DevOps, Azure Automation).
  • Strong technical background and ability to remain current with technology and industry developments.
