About the Quality Assurance Role

We are seeking a detail-obsessed and driven professional to help uphold the highest standards of quality and reliability in our mobile franchise.

This is a fully remote position that requires curiosity, precision, and a strong sense of ownership.

You'll be responsible for developing and executing tests on new features, tools, and game content to ensure they meet exacting standards, especially around high-impact, revenue-sensitive areas.

This position demands the ability to cut through complexity and ambiguity, identify risks quickly, and bring clarity to fast-moving, often chaotic scenarios.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure all software is functioning as intended with an exceptional level of detail and accuracy.
• Create, maintain, and execute test plans and test cases across new and existing game content, tools, and platforms.
• Document and track issues using bug tracking software from discovery through resolution.
• Collaborate with developers, designers, artists, and product managers to identify potential quality risks early.
• Reproduce and isolate complex issues to support engineering resolution efforts.
• Generate clear and concise QA documentation, reports, and feedback summaries.
• Identify gaps in test coverage and proactively suggest process improvements.
• Own the quality of your assigned areas - functionality, usability, and player experience.

LiveOps Quality Assurance Responsibilities:

• Ensure quality and stability of all live operations deliveries across mobile and web platforms.
• Collaborate with Product, Monetization, and Config teams to understand testing requirements and priorities.
• Test configured Live Events (before and after they go live), covering economy setups, asset triggers, segmentation logic, and campaign flows.
• Validate:
• Integrated assets & bundles in Unity across relevant branches.
• Triaged live issues requiring dev fixes.
• Release candidates (server/client/admin code).
• TOMBs and feature branches delivered from slot dev teams.
• Monitor and test live issue resolutions, hotfixes, and deployment-ready changes.
• Perform calendar-based validations, including weekends and holidays, as part of on-call support.

Feature Quality Assurance Responsibilities:

• Ensure quality delivery of new features, enhancements, and integrations.
• Participate in Feature Sprint Cycles and track progress via test planning and execution:
• Write and maintain Test Plans and Test Cases.
• Execute tests across environments: Dev, Stage, Prod, Hotfix.
• Validate feature branches and conduct bug research.
• Log and triage bugs, including those from stakeholder feedback.
• Own test cycles for P0/P1/P2 issues, QA sign-offs, and build readiness checks.
• Support automation:
• Build/extend test automation tools and scripts.
• Contribute to admin tool validation & enhancements.
• Optimize regression cycles with automated coverage tracking.

Requirements:

Must Have

• 5+ years of professional QA experience in games or software testing.
• Strong understanding of LiveOps processes, config validations, and content testing.
• Proven ability to work independently in night shifts, staying highly responsive and accountable.
• High attention to detail and the ability to spot inconsistencies quickly.
• Hands-on experience with bug tracking and test management tools.
• Strong collaboration skills with cross-functional teams.
• Experience with mobile or web-based games or apps

Nice to Have

• Experience testing F2P mobile or web-based games.
• Familiarity with slot games or monetization-driven content.
• Experience with Unity-based asset validation and bundle integration checks.
• Exposure to automation tools or scripting for regression optimization.

Shift Details

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent relevant experience

Shift:

• Night Shift: 2.30 AM to 11.30 AM IST

Experience:

• 6+ years of professional game software testing experience required.
• Gaming domain experience is a must.
• Expected to handle critical validations, live content checks, and stakeholder communication in real time.
