Database Manager Role

Job Summary :

  • Administer, develop, test, or demonstrate databases. Manage database functions across multiple teams or clients, including designing, implementing and maintaining new databases, managing backups and recovery, and overseeing configuration management.

Must have skills : 

  • Expertise in IFS Solutions Administration is essential.

Good to have skills : 

  • Oracle Applications DBA knowledge is a plus.

The ideal candidate will possess strong understanding of database management systems, knowledge of database design and implementation best practices, experience with database backup and recovery procedures, as well as excellent collaboration and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and collaborate with the team to ensure high performance.
  • Take responsibility for team decisions and contribute to key decisions across multiple teams.
  • Develop and implement database security policies and procedures.
  • Optimize database performance using tuning and indexing strategies.

Key Requirements :

  • A minimum of 7.5 years of experience in IFS Solutions Administration is required.
  • Strong education background is necessary.
