Process Engineer

The process engineer will be responsible for executing system engineering activities within the water-steam cycle in power projects. This involves collaborating with clients to obtain input, clarifications, and reviews throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Developing design basis criteria documents
  • Creating PFDs and P&IDs
  • Conducting equipment sizing calculations
  • Evaluating technical specifications for supplier offers
  • Reviewing vendor drawings
  • Coordinating inter-discipline inputs and clarifications
  • Obtaining client approval for project documents
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering with experience in combined cycle power plants
  • 6-10 years of experience in system engineering
  • Good knowledge of heat-mass balance diagrams, process flow diagrams, and P&IDs
  • Hands-on experience in sizing calculations for pumps, control valves, and condensers
  • Experience in preparing P&IDs for fuel gas systems, condensate systems, feedwater systems, and water systems
Desirable Qualities:
  • Strong English language skills for technical writing
  • Experience in the power generation industry or at a power plant site
