Dev Ops Engineer Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dev Ops professional to fill this position.

The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of both development and operational disciplines, with strong knowledge of Linux/Unix administration and proficiency in scripting languages like Bash, Python, or Power Shell.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Server Administration: Setup, configure, and administer Linux servers, performing regular system maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
  • Infrastructure Configuration: Implement and maintain infrastructure and application configurations using tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
  • CI/CD Pipelines: Establish and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, Git Lab CI/CD, or Circle CI, automating and optimising deployment processes.
  • Containerised Applications: Manage containerized applications using Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes, ensuring high availability.
  • Cloud Platforms: Provision, manage, and optimise resources on cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP, monitoring system and application performance using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 10+ years of hands-on experience in a Dev Ops role
  • Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix administration
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (Bash, Python, Power Shell)
  • Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef)
  • Knowledge of CI/CD concepts and tools
  • Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and orchestration platforms (Kubernetes)
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Proficiency in monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK)
  • Understanding of security best practices and compliance requirements in a Dev Ops environment
