Project Engineer Role

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled project engineer to support senior project managers in the execution of industrial construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist senior project managers by preparing reports, charts, and project documentation.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and other project stakeholders.
  • Coordinate design and engineering between different disciplines and perform clash checks for structural, mechanical, and electrical components.
  • Prepare preliminary schedules, bar charts, catch-up plans, and look-ahead schedules.
  • Support cost estimating, tendering processes, and tender documentation.
  • Expedite and follow up on submissions, resolving bottlenecks proactively.
  • Monitor and report potential or actual project conflicts to the project manager.
  • Expedite resolutions for queries during the execution stage.
  • Document meeting minutes and ensure timely follow-up on action points.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (B.E.) or Master's in Construction/Project Management (M. Tech in CPM).
  • Minimum 2-4 years of experience in project or construction management within consultancy or construction organizations.
  • Strong understanding of project coordination, planning, and execution.
  • Proficiency in preparing schedules, bar charts, and project tracking tools.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and mitigate project risks.
