Job Opportunity: HR Leadership Role

The position of Deputy General Manager Human Resources is responsible for spearheading the human resources function for quality and operations functions. This role provides strategic business partnership to the site leadership team, developing and implementing human resources strategy and policy in support of business objectives.

This involves managing harmonious industrial relations and ensuring legal and statutory compliance across the site. Key responsibilities include planning, implementing, and evaluating employee relations and human resource programs and practices.

  • Strategic Partner: Plan and implement people strategy aligned with business needs.
  • Talent Acquisition: Responsible for talent acquisition by providing a talented workforce within a time-acceptable timeframe to ensure business continuity.
  • HR Planning and Budgeting: Assist in budgeting process of all HR items and headcount requirement.
  • Performance Management: Drive continual performance management and annual compensation review for the site.
  • Talent Management: Implement periodic talent management reviews and ensure development/retention plans are executed.
  • Learning and Development: Promote a culture of learning and high performance.
  • HR Compliance and Statutory Obligations: Ensure HR legal compliances by monitoring and implementing applicable statutory laws.
  • Labour Management: Maintain a harmonious and productive IR environment.
  • Employee Engagement and Wellbeing: Implement initiatives to impact key drivers of employee engagement.
  • HR Operations: Supervise and review all HR operations pertaining to employee lifecycle.

Requirements:

  • Educational Qualifications: MBA HR/Masters in Human Resource Management
  • Experience: 15+ years of experience handling HR functions.
  • Knowledge and Skills: HR Operations, Industrial Relations, Understanding of Labor Legislations, Strong Business Acumen.
