Shop Operations Manager

The Shop Operations Manager is a crucial role in our team, responsible for overseeing all aspects of shop operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership & Management:
    • Supervise, mentor, and motivate staff to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.
    • Schedule shifts, assign tasks, and ensure proper coverage for all operational hours.
    • Conduct regular performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and identify training needs to enhance team skills.
    • Foster a positive, collaborative, and results-driven work environment.
  • Operational Excellence:
    • Oversee all shop operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and point-of-sale (POS) system management.
    • Ensure the shop's layout, displays, and visual merchandising are attractive and align with brand standards.
    • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment for employees and customers.
    • Resolve operational issues and customer complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Sales & Customer Service:
    • Lead by example on the shop floor, demonstrating exceptional sales techniques and customer service.
    • Monitor sales performance, analyze data, and implement strategies to boost revenue.
    • Engage with customers to understand their needs, assist with product selection, and ensure their satisfaction.
  • Inventory Management:
    • Supervise inventory management, including receiving new stock, conducting regular stock counts, and minimizing shrinkage.
    • Coordinate with suppliers and the back office to ensure timely ordering and replenishment of products.
    • Track and report on stock levels, fast-moving items, and any discrepancies.
  • Reporting & Administration:
    • Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports to management.
    • Manage administrative tasks related to the shop, including payroll submission, documentation, and compliance checks.
    • Ensure all company policies and procedures are followed by the team.
