We are seeking a highly skilled professional to assume the role of Cost Estimator and provide accurate, timely, and competitive cost estimates for various systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate project specifications, technical requirements, and scope of work to understand client needs and objectives.
- Conduct thorough analysis and feasibility studies to determine suitable solutions for integrating control systems with HVAC systems, DDC systems, and PLCs.
- Utilize industry knowledge, past project data, and estimation software tools to prepare detailed cost estimates for HVAC, DDC, and PLC systems.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure estimation inputs align with project timelines and strategic objectives.
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation including supplier quotations, BOQs, compliance sheets, and pricing breakdowns.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical / Mechanical / Instrumentation Engineering
- 3–5 years of experience in automation or HVAC-related estimation
- Familiarity with cost estimation, document formatting, proposal drafting, RFQ analysis, and process improvement
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
